2012 Oakdale 2 gun rimfire charity match is going to be held at Oakdale Sportsman Club on December 9th.

There is a 60 shooter MAX so reserve your sopt now!
Sign in at 08:00 Shooting starts at 09:00 SHARP!
There is a $40.00 entry fee with lunch provided.
Update:
Those that subscribe to my posts will receive this others will learn about it on Sunday.
They are combining limited and open and creating a single Division called Semi-auto. The other 2 divisions will be Manual and Junior.
There will be prizes awarded to the top 3 in the 3 divisions I described above and then random drawings after that.
I talked with Dave Lake (the match director) and reserved 4 spots for NVSA. Please get back to him or I if you would like to attend.
Wendy and I will be going. It would be great if a few other Norcal shooters could attend. Check out your calendars and get back to me.

Yep, me too. I sent an e-mail to DAve aslking for info as to how to pay? I couldn't find any info on the site linked and couldn't find any registration info.. I hope to hear form him tomorrow so I can get registered. but I"m definately planning on going and shooting int he manual sideof the match with my revolver and Henry lever action. Should be a blast,.

This is what I know so far. You can mail in a check or just show up but either way you must contact me or Dave Lake prior to arriving. I currently have 2 more NVSA spots pre-reserved. Should more NVSA members wish to attend I can request more.
I prefer to mail a check simply because it is easier on the Match Director to figure out how many for sure for lunch. Plus the more cash in hand prior to the match the better the prize table.

Make a copy of the check and use that as your entry should you need proof you paid. Once you mail off your check post that info here and I will verify prior to the match that everything is in order before we get down there.
Sounds like it will be fun. I know at least 3 world champions will be there. It is a great little sleeper match.

I spoke with Dave today, Here is an update. He has received checks from the following:
Jim Burton, Lynn Brazelton, Brian Gonsalves, Ty Hamby, Wendy Hamby, Doug Ross, Lowell Ross, Dick Sears, Brianna Cebollero.
Those who are in and expected to pay upon arrival are Hockman x2 and Cunha x3.
Spectators may buy lunches for $7-8 at the match. Shooters lunch is included.
More prizes have show up and he Dave decided to split Semi-auto into 2 divisions. Limited and Open.
There will be prizes awarded to the top shooters in each of the following divisions.
Manual, may use an optic but both guns will be shot as single action only. DA revolvers must be shot single action only.

WEll, that match was great. had some really interesting stages adn it really moved along smoothly. All the NVSA shooters were together on one squad. A large one too, with 14, I believe that is the correct count. biggest squad of all. Adn all the NVSA shooters did verywell and represented the club with great dignity and great scores. I would sure like to see the scores. Ty, do you know if they hve been posted anywhere yet? I looked around and couldn't find any postings.
