Great quote! But, remember, Patton was Cavalry and horses n' Armor don't like mud. Everyone who has been through Grunt school knows that rain is Infantry weather.cheeky

    Patton's weather prayer

Almighty and most merciful Father, we humbly beseech Thee, of Thy great goodness, to restrain these immoderate rains with which we have had to contend. Grant us fair weather for Battle. Graciously hearken to us as soldiers who call upon Thee that, armed with Thy power, we may advance from victory to victory, and crush the oppression and wickedness of our enemies and establish Thy justice among men and nations.

    I hope this helps!!!!!
    I want to shoot tomorrow.

    Bite your tongue.crying

Another reason for an alternate Rain Day. Remember your prize table is made up from money collected throughout the year. No Shoot no money. Looks like next years prize table might just be pens, and stickers. <jk>

I was just overall impressed with how he was shooting that little thing. I've got one I carry, but I know I sure couldn't shoot it like he did. That was some fine shooting, in my opinion. Nice going Bill.

Here is how it is laid out.

NVSA's Front page contains Posts that are "Current Events". Members cannot add current events, they can of course comment on the Current Event posts that are seen on the front page. These posts disappear (move down) as new current events get posted to the front page. Except for posts marked by "sticky" they remain there until the sticky is removed.

The Forum is a separate area all together. The only thing that connects the forum to the front page is depending on you access level. (board members) may post something in the Forums and then if the choose to Publish the same content to the "front page"  This would be the types of content like an IDPA rule change. Not everyone reads the forums yet the rule change needs to archived so that someone 6 months from now can see it without going through all the old "front page" posts. If the information is worthy enough to inform everyone NOW they (boardmembers) can send out your post as a Mass Email to everyone or they can change its published status to add "Publish to front".  By "publishing it to the front", comments can be added either on the front page or in the forums. It really isnt duplicate posting it is just visible from 2 areas.

The best way to track active posts are to watch the Recent Comments in the left pane from the front page. The second thing to watch is Active Topics Below that.

If someone posts a new topic that hasn't received any comments it will only show up in the Active Forums block on the left bottom of the front page.

Keep asking your questions others will learn form these types of posts

Last years Near and Far was labeled as stage 5. Here is the May 2010 Results link.

BTW, Thanks for all the great video coverage.  You get amazing quality video out of that little camera!

PPS,  Wendy,  You were amazing all day!  You definitely added to the fun "energy" we had goin'.  I hope you'll come out again next month.  :)

Can anyone tell me which stage number was the near to far in the May 2010 match. I thought it was stage one but some of the numbers when compared to this years Near to Far don't make sense to me..

Lynn you got me by less than a second. Clearly I need to step up my game. Or for that matter find some game to begin with.
