CA Mag Capacity Law?

One of our newer shooters (here in Fallon NV) recently asked about attending a USPSA match in California and whether or not he could take his "high capacity" magazines with him to a match.

Frankly, I wasn't sure what to tell him.

Can you enlighten us?

I think I have the answer.

Have been told that non-Calif-residents cannot, under any circumstances, bring magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rds.

There is an exemption to the

There is an exemption to the importation law for those that have arrest powers.

Read this, There are other workarounds without runing a foul of any California Law.
