The weather is looking great for Sunday's IDPA match!  So come on out and enjoy a great match!  The new range layout that allows 2 stages to be shot at the same time worked great for Rimfire and ICORE, so things should move along a little better this month.

If you have not already done so. Download your 2013 NVSA  membership application. Bring it Sunday.  We will be collecting them at the match. As always, members who have not paid their membership dues will pay a match fee of 25.00 (ouch).

The new gate is up and running, it will be manned for entry from 7:am to 7:15 for those who wish to help with set up. Then it will again be manned for entry from 8:15 to 8:45 for everybody else. Anybody that shows up after 8:45 will have to walk in. Registration will begin at 8:15, shooters meeting at 9:00. Please be patient as we only have one gate key card at this time.

Important: When leaving, the gate opens for each approaching car and closes quickly.  If more than one car tries to slip out at once, the gate will come down on the second car, breaking the gate's arm and damaging that car.  The gate must be allowed to open and close for each departing car.

Slow Motion video from the

Slow Motion video from the IDPA February Match is sloooowly coming online - here's the playlist:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7OFAA0mgclB4_QTvx28BOSpRLdhQPHkP

Missed a few folks (including myself) when the video card got full.  Hope to have all four stages up soon.

Slow motion flying brass is a beautiful thing, but watching my fumbled draws and reloads sure is painful!  Note to self: "Dry fire practice is cheap and readily available"....

Joe, Already enjoyed watching

Joe,

Already enjoyed watching myself fumble the reload. Thanks for working on this. I know it is taking 30-40 miniuts per video to upload. They look great and sure do reveal things to work on.

Thanks Joe.  The video is amazing.  There is so much you can see in slow motion...  very interesting! The facial expressions of the shooters?  Intense!

As you'll see after I get

As you'll see after I get Stages 2 and 4 posted, the video is a bit less effective on that side.  Because of the angle of the stage and sun, my position choices were downrange (gulp) or right of center, so on Stage 2 the SO blocks the view occasionally and for Stage 4 we get the table shots and moving downrange but we miss the last half of the stage.  This is where Ty did the Reload Samba for our entertainment - would have been amazing in slow motion!

Um? Thank goodness that one will remain in memory only.
