Those are cool Rugers. Heck, mine is just a plain jane type. I do have a pretty fancy Buckmark though.

Both of my pistols are still piles of parts.  They will be ready by the August Rimfire match!

However, my rifle is ready!  wink

Hi Lynn,

I've had this gun for about Ten (10) years.  Over that time it has gone through many changes, with me buying, selling and trading parts until it reached it's current version.  It has been in it's current configuration about 2 years, with only the comp and the bolt work being added within the last month.  So here's a build list:

Ruger 10/22 Silver Receiver

Green Mountain Barrel - Machined to mount a C-more directly to barrel and threaded for the Comp

C-more Slideride Red-Dot Sight

Volquartson Trigger Group with upgrade to Left Hand Safety

Rimfire Technologies Magazine Pull Release

Kidd Guide Rod & Spring kit

Stock Bolt sent to CPC for CPC 10/22 L.R. Bolt Combo Rework including CPC REV.3 EDM EXTRACTOR

Hogue Overmolded Stock

Alchin .22 Compensator

Ruger Clear Magazines in TriMag holder

Tuffer Buffer

Doug Koenig V-block

There you have it.  I think that's everything!

I'm having a hard time getting interested in this rim-fire idea..  Another pistol and rifle to buy....  Paint on the fingers from spray cans,.... kids running around the range,....Shooting "smoke and hope" over and over and over...

No offense, but I think I'll pass..... but you guys go for it!

sad

I don't know about the rest

I don't know about the rest of you, put I know how to use a can of spray paint?!?!?

I guess I can hold a class on the proper application of spray paint.

And one more thing Mark, I seem to recall you had fun shooting the rimfire side match at the IRC???

Hey, what an old spoiled sport. Gonna miss out on a lot of fun. Come out and shoot with me and we can share the pistol and rifle. Then, if you still don't like it, at least you have it a try. Gonna be fun!!!

Mark, It sounds like you are

Mark,

It sounds like you are 95% on board. Just to make you more confident about your decision to join us I thought you should know, I just hung up with Kelly and she said you are good to go on new Rimfire equipment. Wow what a great wife. I told her there would be plenty of rifles at the event to borrow, but she insisted that you deserve nothing but the best. Cant wait. see you at the next event.
