Stages:

The next IDPA match will be Sunday, 15 March. Gates will open at 0700 for Stage Designers and others desiring to help with set up. Registration begins at 0815, new shooters to the range must be signed in before 0830, when the New Shooter Orientation begins. Safety Walk-Through is done at 0845 and Shooters Meeting at 0900 with hammers falling shortly thereafter.

We have started using the PractiScore sign up process {see link above].

You will sign up at the link. Once it is determined what fee you are required to pay (member, non-member, junior, etc), you will receive an email with a link allowing you to pay online. After you have paid you will immediately be able to squad yourself. You will want to keep this last email should you wish to withdraw from match. The link within is your access key. For security reasons, this money transfer is done at the bank level similar to PayPal. Neither NVSA, or PractiScore has access to the financial information you provide.

I think everyone can agree that electronic scoring is a boon to the Club and that once some bugs are worked out over the next few months the sign-in and scoring processes will be greatly streamlined.

As you know, the match will

As you know, the match will utilize the new Practiscore registration process that NVSA has adopted and will be requiring beginning at the March IDPA match. Anyone who wishes to shoot at this event will need to register online and once approved pay for their match fees. Below is an outline of what is expected. A similar email will be emailed each month to everyone who has signed up via the NVSA website to receive emails. This online registration is a bit more advanced than what we have done in the past. As we have grown and shooters demand immediate results at the end of each match this will become the new normal. On match day since you have already paid online and are squadded you will only be signing the waiver so we can check you off the list. If you plan on participating in the IDPA match in March please don’t hesitate to register. It is on a first come first served basis at this point. Here is the link: https://clubs.practiscore.com/nvsa-idpa-1503/register

No "Walk-Ins" on match day after 8:00am. While this rule is not being enforced currently it will be enforced beginning June 1st. All NVSA matches will need to be paid in advance. All match registrations, payments, and squadding will be done by the shooters, on-line, through the PractiScore website. Please don’t wait until June 1st to begin this process. Please begin participating in the new process now.

Registration for the "NVSA IDPA 1503 Handgun Match" is open NOW. It closes at 2pm the Friday before the match so all data can be transferred to the scoring tablets. Once transferred to the tablets changes are not likely to happen.

Match is capped at 60. Anyone else registering and paying will sit on the waitlist for anyone else who may withdraw from match.

Should be a great day and match with plenty of help on each squad. Bring a chair.

Well gosh... a LOTTA shooters

Well gosh... a LOTTA shooters today! I think most everyone had fun, and I"ll take the heat for the large number of hiccups with stages. Really sorry that they were so borderline. You can be sure that I will be spending a lotta time with the book and forums before the next match rolls in.

On a plus side... NINE ladies showed up to shoot today. That is awesome!!
