IRC and June ICORE match

June ICORE Update: RESULTS here

Overall Champion: Steve McCormick
Open winner: Steve McCormick
Limited winner: Alexis Katz
Classic winner: Scott Frazier
High Lady: Alexis Katz
High Senior: Scott Frazier
High Super Senior: Ed Vernon

Edit: 2012 IRC results are posted here

On the Brian Enos forum, I saw that Art Leach has said that this years IRC will have no movers, clamshells or swinging targets.  It will be run and gun.  Also, Jerry Miculek is going for his 20th consecutive world championship.  I'm sure all of us that are going can't wait to get down there.  Steve McCormick has committed to designing a stage for our June ICORE match along with Gene and Alexis setting up a classifier.  Quite a few of us will be shooting the IDPA regional in Richmond the day before our ICORE match.  I would appreciate it if someone else would volunteer to take care of another stage for the June match.  Post here or send me an email.  I believe there is one last match in Richmond  Sunday before the IRC next week.  I'll be heading down early in the week to take care of family matters.  I'll see everyone down in SLO and everyone else at our June match.  Thanks,   Mark H.

The 2012 IRC is in the bag.

The 2012 IRC is in the bag.  NVSA members participating included Brian Gonsalves, Ty and Wendy Hamby, Dave Gunsaules, Lynn Brazelton, Gene and Alexis Katz, Steve McCormick and me.  It was challenging and fun.  I wasn't the only one to come home tired and a little sunburned.  We shot about 4 1/2 hours Friday afternoon and again on Saturday Morning.

I took over 100 videos, and they are uploading now.  The first batch are HERE, but they will be uploading all night.

Congratulations to all of the NVSA Revolver Enthusiasts who participated!

Had a fantastic time at the Match! Wonderful fun experience, lots to learn.

Thank you Brian for all of your coaching and thanks Mark B for your helpful tips.

Thank you to Ty and Wendy for letting us join you and helping us during practice. Now if we can just take all the tips and absorb

them enough so that they don't fly out of the brain when the buzzer goes off.

I think by looking at

I think by looking at that chart and remembering there were 241shooters, that the NVSA group made a nice showing for our group. Nice going to everyone. I was and am really pleased to be called a part of the NVSA. It is a great group that really stives to help each other out every little bit possible. I watch those Limited shooters using their moonclips and I get kinda envious, as the reloads go so much nicer. But dang, the competitiion is so much more intense with almost 3 times as many limitesd shootes as classic shootes. I'm in hte process of getting a limited gun together, but will probalby still shoot classic.
