Logging into the IDPA website to view your classifier scores

I was asked this question via email from a club member and thought I would post here so others that need this information can benefit.

  1. How do I log into IDPA to see my Classifiers?
  2. Do I need the Club number?

You do not need the NVSA Club number. Which by the way is C0115.

All you need to do is create an account on the IDPA website. Start by going to IDPA.com then on the left click on the "members only area".

If you do not already have an account click on the sign up button. You will then be taken to a page where you put your IDPA member number. This is usually an A plus 5 digit number printed on the front of your IDPA membership card you received after joining IDPA. If you have not yet joined IDPA you will need to do so first and wait for your membership package to arrive before proceeding.

Once you enter your IDPA number (not the club number) you then need to add an email address and zipcode. You will then be taken to a page where you can enter a username and password. Oce done you will be able to login using your unique login name and password to access and view your information.

Everyone needs to be aware that not every club at every classifier turns in this information in a timely manner. Sometimes not at all. It is important to get your IDPA classifier cards filled out and signed after you complete a classifier. If you haven't already done so, you may bring your card to any match and have a Safety Officer that classified you sign off on your card. It is always better to do this before scores and times get lost or forgotten. In this day and age it is easy to look up your times via smartphone and get your card signed at a match assuming the times got turned in. As for the last classifier ran at this club, those times have been turned in and are appearing on my current member page.

Once logged into your personal classifier page yours will look something like this. There are a few classifiers that I have done and has been signed off on that do not show up on this page. It is possible for myself and you to travel out to any range on any day. I can then run you through the classifier and sign your card. Headquarters will not have any record of this. This is why it is important to get your card signed off.
