  After my last email, I

After my last email, I received some questions about membership requirements.  There are Two (2) memberships, IDPA (National level) and NVSA (Local level).

Per IDPA rules(copied from the current rulebook), Contestants may only shoot one IDPA match as a nonIDPA member. Competitors wishing to shoot additional matches must become IDPA members.

While we try not to be too hard on new shooters who want to try a couple matches before joining, when it comes to the classifier, NVSA will require IDPA membership.  If you are not a member or your membership has expired you can join or re-new here www.idpa.com  Please print out and bring your confirmation to the match.

NVSA Membership is not required!

As stated in the last email, for Sunday's Classifier Match unless you are a first time shooter, you MUST be an IDPA member and bring your membership/classifier card to the match!

You will need a minimum of 90 rounds.  No vest/concealment is required.  Also, if you have extra magazines please bring them.  It will help speed things up.

Registration will start at 8:15 and close at 8:55, please be on time!

Yes -- Deanna wasn't able to

Yes -- Deanna wasn't able to get the scores to Ty right away, but I believe she did so last night.  So they should be up very soon.  Ty is always fast.

I got an IDPA email telling

I got an IDPA email telling me I could see the scores on the IDPA web site. Which I did and was immediately humbled when I saw that my 3 type 3 malfunctions in the last string of the last stage allowed Marie to beat me fair and square. As mentioned by Brian yesterday. Thank you Brian.crying

Congrats to Marie! As Wyatt

Congrats to Marie! As Wyatt Earp, I believe said, 'Fast is fine, but accuracy wins the fight.'

I, on the other hand, probably shoulda stayed home and watched the hockey game with the way I was shootin'.

Thanks to Charlie for only

Thanks to Charlie for only having to tell me twice that I need to eject the magazine first, then the round, to show clear.  I think my brain WAS AT a hockey game.   The second time I was fully braced for a slap upside the head that never came.  I'm sure you were thinking about it, thanks for the restraint!

Congrats to Marie - Most Accurate!
