Need to borrow:

I would like to borrow for this Sunday's ICORE match, holster, and speed loaders for S&W Model 19. That is the a 4 inch K frame.

I'm thinking of give ICORE a try and only have the handgun.

Thanks,

NVSA Friend, Bart Hightower

NVSA Friend, Bart Hightower has offered all of his Kframe stuff both IDPA and ICORE compliant stuff. He has RH holster couple of double blade tech speed loader pouches, 8 speed loaders comp 2 and 3. So this should be more than enough goodies to get you hooked. I am meeting him at a local gun store tonight to pick it all up.

So IDPA SSP or ICORE classic here you come.

Get ready for a load of fun

Get ready for a load of fun and bring and bring a lotta ammo Tony! My stage alone is 36rds minimum. :-) That's half of our IDPA match's count on #4 alone!

No Problem Tony. I sent out

No Problem Tony. I sent out the email hoping to hear form folks that don't frequent the website. It worked. He called me and we are set to meet tonight. He told me to tell you to keep it for a few matches to determine first of you like competing with a revolver and second to determine if you like this style of equipment. Hopefully you may find someone else with different stuff for you to try also.

Tony, I got your stuff. I

Tony,

I got your stuff. I only have 4 pouches and 8 speed loaders. So you have enough speed loaders but not enough pouches for the stages. In ICORE all reloads must be from the belt. So option

1) buy or borrow more pouches before the event.
2) load from pocket to belt to gun.
3) Throw yourself at the mercy of Mark Hicks and beg him to allow you to load from pockets.

I would recommend 1 or 3

Here is the rule verbiage for ICORE.

The holders must be attached to your gun belt. You may do your initial loading from pockets prior to beginning the course of fire. However during the course of fire all reloads must come from your belt, unless otherwise directed by the course of fire or at the direction of the Match Director or Range Officers. During the course of fire, you may safely retrieve any ammo that has been dropped.

See you Sunday.

I have a couple of leather

I have a couple of leather speedloader holders (they hold 2 each)  that should have enough adjustment for the k frame speedloaders.  I'll bring them.  Otherwise, pocket loading is alright with me.  Mark H.  I also have a Safariland holder but it's for L frame, don't know if the k frames would fall out.
