October IDPA is Sunday the 19th

Stages HERE                           Results HERE

SSP Champion ~ Gilbert Sandler
ESP Champion ~ Mark Barr
CDP Champion ~ Randy Hood
SSR Champion ~ Brian Gonsalves
ESR Champion ~ Mike Kern

Our next IDPA match will be Sunday, 19 October. We are now back on "normal" operating hours. The gates will open for stage builders [and anyone who desires to help out] at 0700. Signups will start at 0815. Shooters' meeting at 0845 and hammers down at 0900. If you are a new shooter, try and be at the main gate before 0830, so that you can 'piggyback' in through the gate. The PractiScore guru requests that all sign-ins be completed by the time of the shooters' meeting as making changes to data is time consuming. It also makes it a little bit easier if y'all sign-up on the webpage link in the orange toolbar at the top of the page. wink

The long range forecast is for rain mid-week and possible showers on the weekend. Unless there is standing water AND a downpour we WILL be shooting... we have PLENTY of dry cleaner bags for the targets!

Thanks to the Stage Designers for this month... We are going to be shooting six stages on three bays; three in the morning, make changes and three in the afternoon.

Please consider volunteering to build some in the future. We can use some fresh folk/ideas. If ya need ideas... just cruise the Stage Repository in the blue tool bar and/or 'google' IDPA stages.

C-y'all Sunday!

Great stages, but too long a day.  I'm sure the "reset" at half-time will smooth out as we progress.

First, let me say the stages

First, let me say the stages were GREAT!  A big thank you to the designers!

The time situation is easily remedied by implementing the model that is used for USPSA and ICORE.  The second stage in each bay must be pre-built or part of the first stage, so that the switch over is just pulling away some props and maybe moving a target of two.  As an example Randy's Stage 2 & 5 on Sunday.  That said, the second stage in each bay doesn't have to have a low round count.  It's about the time to switch between the first 3 stages and the second 3, yesterday it was over an hour!

I'm sure that's what we will see in the future matches!
