Official "I want to play topic"

This is the Official I want to play but I don't have all the right stuff. If you plan on attending and would like to make some or all of your equipment available. Please list it in this thread. Other members can click on your email link in your post and hash out details with you. Some of the members may have items that will not be shared and that is respected by all as well. If you have an extra this or that list it here. If you need a this or that ask it here. I myself will be hunting for a rifle to borrow. I will also be using my Dad's Mark 1 in Limited until I find my own stuff.

This is intended to be absolutely family friendly.  Initially there will not be any movement. I suspect in the future we will add minimal movement. One .22 rimfire pistol and rifle owned or borrowed is all it takes for the entire club to play.

Well, I definitely want to

Well, I definitely want to play and I will be there. I have a Ruger 22/45 and a Browning. I'll plan on bring both. For the Ruger I have about 10 mags. Some are here at the house others are at my cabin. But I'll have them all here before the match. I also have a Ruger 10/22 and a half dozen or so mags. In addition, I have two Henry lever actions. I'll have all three available for the August match. I have no problems sharing any of them with someone that needs something to shoot.

Lynn that is very kind of

Lynn that is very kind of you. I know there are folks that want to play that don't have the necessary equipment. It is great that you are allowing people to come out and borrow your equipment. I hope that anyone that wants to borrow/share something of yours will contact you first via email. Members email links are posted to the right of their names on their posts. You should also post any special requirements for ammo. Some guns eat different brands better than others. If those posting that they have equipment to share could they also post the type of ammo the owner requires. Then a shooter can feel confident that they are not imposing too much on the lender.

Also, this may be important. I would put identification markings on your magazines. I suspect there will be a lot of sharing of magazines. I think it would behoove everyone to properly identify their magazines. I would hate to have 30 magazines all being handed around that all look the same.

"If you plan to leave early, please arrive early to help set up. If you arrive late, please stay late to help take down. If you plan to arrive late and leave early, please do your shooting someplace else."

Good points Ty. I will be

Good points Ty. I will be sure and have all magazines marked with my name or something. Great idea.  As for the ammo for my guns, the federal bulk pack, 525 rounds in a brick, work just fine. And less expensive then some of the other brands too. Thats a good thing.
