Thanks to the Severance brothers NVSA now has a top quality flag pole. It looks great?
Then today, we got our new container delivered. Thanks to Jerry Cardosa for bring out his tractor and building a pad for the container.
See you all soon.
I will be installing locks and hasps on the container this weekend. The container does not contain any shelving. It is a totally blank cube. If you have any carpentry skills and/or tools, please contact Charles Aucoin or post a reply here.
He is slated to put a team together to knock out the interior so we can get our props moved in. Please help us out if you can.
"If you plan to leave early, please arrive early to help set up. If you arrive late, please stay late to help take down. If you plan to arrive late and leave early, please do your shooting someplace else."
Don't know strait the nails will be (just like I always hear at NVSA, "down 2"),,,,, Just let me know when
A friend will bail you out of jail ,,, A true friend will be there sitting next to you saying "Damn, that was fun!"

I will stop by Home Depot / Lowes and get a "heavy duty shelf unit" if I know how deep/wide you want and bring it down on Sunday
Wow, the flag poll and th container look great. I'd love to help out but not sure I can even hammeer a nail straight yet. Haven't tried. And power tools like that are off the grid for me right now. I like my 10 fingers where they are. Even if they aren't all working quite right yet.
Actually, Sarge did 95% of the work on the flagpole system, including fabricating and powdercoating the inset plaque. All I did was dig the hole and, with Warren's help, bolt the staff to the base. The system is designed to swivel down for repairs or lanyard replacement.
The ability to shoot straight is that part of national security which affects the individual more than any other. - Merritt "Red Mike" Edson; CMOH-USMC
Thanks to Phill Osborn for leveling up the pad and moving the container forward. Now where are the volunteers that we need to build shelving? NVSA needs help.
Phill.. You Rock! Thanks to everyone who made these improvements. The flag pole and the new container look great.
Thanks to the dedication of our hardest working members, we have a viable club.
I'm better with a screwgun than a hammer, and am perfectly capable with a tape measure. I also have a fair measure of tools I could bring out, if needed. Let me know when you're thinking of getting this done, and if I'm not already obligated elsewhere I'll be there.
And brilliant job to those of you who have contributed to the recent range improvements - thank you!
I have a medium to large generator and a hammer. Do we have a work day for rack construction?
I am pretty handy and have many tools, let me know when I'll try to be there
Looks great - let us know the day/time for the shelf project. I recommend screws over nails!
I too can give a hand on this project.....plus I need to check the container for level after all the rain
Level? Heck. As long as it hasn't tipped over, I'm happy. In fact, if it leans about 20 degrees to the right, it'll be easier to stack the steel on that side...
