ICORE Update: RESULTS here

Overall Champion: Brian Gonsalves
Open winner: Mark Barr
Limited winner: Brian Gonsalves
Classic winner: Mark Hicks
High Lady: Wendy Hamby
High Senior: Mark Hicks
High Super Senior: Mike Kern

It's time for our November ICORE match.  Summers over, cool weather ahead.  Those setting up stages meet at the front gate between 7-7:15 am.  I'm not sure how exactly we are getting in the front gate.  Everyone else be there between 8:15 and 8:50 to get in.  We will still need to have someone at the gate, or alternate people, until match time.  With everyone pitching in, we should have a safe, fun match and not be all day getting it done.  See you there, Mark H.

Minor errors did occur in my scoring of the ICORE match yesterday..  I was using an old scoring template and managed to get Ty Hamby in the 6 shooter category (he's not) and I left Gene Katz out of the 6 shooter group... Sorry Gene.  I have updated that on the template.

If anyone else finds errors, please let me know.  I plan on posting results for the November match that are both fast AND accurate!

Well I had fun at the match.

Well I had fun at the match.  I'm ok, but after the match I got hit and knocked down in the parking lot at the Tractor Store in Chico.  A lady backed into me as she came out of a parking spot and turned sharply to her left.  I was up and walking but it was real sore last night.  Got it checked out and x rayed, nothing broken or torn.  We'll see how much better it is later this week.   It's always something.  Mark H.

I have to echo the comments of others and say I"m sorry to hear of the incident and sure glad to hear that you seem to be doing fine. Keep us posted of how you are doing in the days to come. Hopefully, just minor soreness is all.

Thanks, everyone.  I'm

Thanks, everyone.  I'm already doing better.  I guess it's just going to be stiff and sore for a while..  The good news is I am finally about to leave the stone age of Rockchucker reloading.  Just got delivery of a new 650 with casefeeder and everything to start off loading 45acp.  Also today got a case of my green bullets, also 45.  That will give me something to do.  Now to convince the wife that that is my old reloading setup with a couple of upgrades.  Might have to get some green paint.  See you soon. I sent you a note asking

I sent you a note asking about your 45acp load. I recently acquired a 45acp revolver, a S&W 22-4 Thunder Ranch that I want to load for so I'm looking for a load. I hve Mark B's load that he posted and I'm going to be trying it. Unfortunately there is nobody in the Marysville/Yuba City area that sells reloading supplies so I"ll hve to go to Sportsmen Warehouse for some powder. I wan to try the Bullseye powder. What are green bullets?

I just sent you an email Lynn.  The green bullets are the ones I've been shooting from Bayou Bullets.  They are lead with some kind of coating.    Donnie Miculek sells them.  Mark H.

No. But I did get a couple of shouts out.  As I was still on the ground, I looked up and could see her looking around.  But, she wasn't looking down behind her where I was.  Maybe that pole blocked her view of me..  I know, how could she not see me??  Mark H.

4wheelguns.com has them.

4wheelguns.com has them.  Retro speedloader holder for ICORE with 6 holders.  Or they have them individually for IDPA.  They aren't cheap.  I didn't really have a problem with the safariland holder but went ahead and got this.  Are you shooting a K frame or L frame.  I have another one that they previously made for an L frame that you or someone else can have if they want it.   You've got first dibs, Jack.   Mark H.
