Despite a late start at our February 1, 2014 match, we were able to get 37 shooters through five great stages, including a classifier by 2:00 p.m allowing enough time to watch the Superbowl.
Thanks to all who came out and pitched in for another successful match. Also, thank you for all your positive feed back we have received. We certainly appreciate and want to hear your comments; whatever they may be.
As you know, the match will utilize the new Practiscore registration process that NVSA has adopted and will be requiring beginning at the March USPSA match March 1st 2015. Anyone who wishes to shoot at this event will need to register online and once approved pay for their match fees. Below is an outline of what is expected. A similar email will be emailed each month to everyone who has signed up via the NVSA website to receive emails. This online registration is a bit more advanced than what we have done in the past. As we have grown and shooters demand immediate results at the end of each match this will become the new normal. On match day since you have already paid online and are squadded you will only be signing the waiver so we can check you off the list. If you plan on participating in the USPSA match in march please don’t hesitate to register. It is on a first come first served basis at this point. Here is the link: https://clubs.practiscore.com/nvsa-uspsa-1503/register
No "Walk-Ins" on match day after 8:00am. While this rule is not being enforced currently it will be enforced beginning June 1st. All NVSA matches will need to be paid in advance. All match registrations, payments, and squadding will be done by the shooters, on-line, through the PractiScore website. Please don’t wait until June 1st to begin this process. Please begin participating in the new process now.
Registration for the "NVSA USPSA 1503 Handgun Match" will OPEN next week. It closes at 2pm the Friday before the match so all data can be transferred to the scoring tablets. Once transferred to the tablets changes are not likely to happen.
The match will start at 9:00 a.m. New shooters need to arrive no later than 8:30 for a new shooter meeting. Everyone that can please arrive early to help set up, at 7:00 a.m.
We look forward to seeing you at the range. DVC
