All Safety Officer Training

All Safety Officer Training has been put on hold by IDPA.  As Tony said, this is to allow the Tiger Teams to finish and the new rule book to be put out.  Once it is done, current Safety Officer Instructors will have to go through a new certification class and then be able to hold classes for new SO's and to re-certifiy current SO's.

My plan is to perform the needed training for my SOI certification as soon as possible and beginning hold classes soon there after.

Goals?

1)For ICORE, I'd love to shoot the Southwest regional in Morro Bay, the Midwest Regional in Fallen and the IRC back in Morro Bay. It would be great to win a couple of our local matches and place in the top 3 in my division in the regionals. (aiming high).

2) For IDPA, I hope to shoot the CA stage match and go to the Idaho State Championships, if time and money allows.. It would be really great to win a local match...  I've come close several times, but never pulled off a win...

3) For our NVSA, I want to help make 2013 a safe, fun year for everyone participating.  We've got a great little club, here.  I bet we can make it even better.

Forever the optimist,

Mark Barr
