I have been looking for a revolver to shoot instead of the 22/45, to compliement my Henry. I was really considering the new 10 shot model that Smith has , but ran into this one and couldn't resist. How can you resist that Smith bluing. She is a S&W Model 17-6 with the full underlug wihich is a bit unusual, not too many of them made. Anr she is just too pretty to resist, even if she only has 6 rounds in her cylinder. Heck, we usually only shoot 5 targets anyway.

Very nice, I just bought one of these. 10 shot 4"

To compliment this that I bought a few weeks ago during North Mountains 10% off deal.

Lynn, it looks like you and me in Rimfire Revolver.

No Lynn, I will still

No Lynn, I will still continue to compete in the Semi Auto-Limited class. I may buy this one day as it uses my already owned 10/22 box magazines.

But it will have to wait. I have bills to pay. Need Tires on the trailer for fallon...ect. ect.....

Lynn, I got to shoot my 617

Lynn,

I got to shoot my 617 this weekend. I put around 200 rounds through it. Wow. Not just light recoil but zero, nada ,zip recoil. If I had not seen the 12 gauge  hulls flying at 15 yards I would have thought I was shooting blanks. I did notice that wiyh using the speedloaders, It was necessary to hand seat them in the cylinder after a couple of loads due to the tight tolerances and dirty .22 ammo. However every round went BANG.

The Model 17 that I recently

The Model 17 that I recently acquired is doing the same thing Ty. Maybe we should join up and get tone of the reamers? What do you think of that idea?

I believe it's this one:

I believe it's this one:  513-051-220WB

It's the one that is highlighted when following the link and I believe it's the one for cylinder based on this description:

Rimfire Cartridge, .22 Long Rifle Finisher (Cyl)
